Mission Statement: To touch hearts and bless souls through the ministry of song (and dance) to as many individualss as we can while demonstrating our love for God

Purpose Statement: To allow a safe place for individuals to congregate in the name of the Lord through uniformity, harmony, and excellence.

SU Nature Rx

Support Salisbury University Nature Rx (SU NRx) and help us grow a healthier, more connected campus community.

As part of the national Campus Nature Rx Network, SU Nature Rx promotes the idea of a “nature prescription” by integrating outdoor experiences into teaching, research, and student life. From hands-on courses like Introductory Biology and Wilderness Navigation to student clubs, Arboretum tours, birdwatching walks, and research on student wellbeing, SU NRx connects our campus to the power of nature in meaningful and measurable ways.

Our 200-acre accredited Glenda Chatham Clarke Arboretum, with more than 3,000 mapped trees, serves as a living laboratory and peaceful retreat for students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. Located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore between the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, Salisbury’s setting provides unmatched access to forests, wetlands, beaches, and waterways that enrich learning and wellness far beyond the classroom.

Your gift will support nature-based programming, student research, outreach events, campus partnerships, and opportunities for every Sea Gull to experience the benefits of time outdoors.

Give today and help us prescribe more nature at SU.

SU POMS Dance Team

The SU Poms Team is a dedicated group of student-athletes who bring spirit, energy, and school pride to every performance. The team performs at fall halftimes during Salisbury University football games and spring halftimes during Salisbury University lacrosse games. In addition, we make appearances on campus at several school-sponsored events. Each fall, we host our annual showcase featuring a variety of styles, including hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and more.

We are raising funds to support essential aspects of our program, including new uniforms, professional choreography, and opportunities to host and participate in campus events that engage the university community. These resources allow us to continue improving our performances, expanding our outreach, and creating memorable experiences for everyone who supports SU.

Over the years, the SU Poms Dance Team has built a strong tradition of excellence through dynamic performances, consistent dedication, and a commitment to uplifting school spirit across campus. With your support, we can continue to elevate our program and make an even greater impact on the SU community.

Thank you for being part of the Sea Gull family and for helping carry this momentum forward — Go Gulls!
