Student Nurses' Association
The Student Nurses Association (SNA) at Salisbury University (SU) is an official campus organization that consists of pre-nursing and nursing students. The group was formed by the first nursing graduates of SU during 1970. The goals of the SNA are to promote professional development by providing events beneficial to the community and fellow SU students, allow students with a common interest an opportunity for gathering and communicating, and further those educational goals set forth by the Nursing Department.
SU SNA is a constituent group of the Maryland Association of Nursing Students (MANS) and the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA). MANS and NSNA are pre-professional organizations designed for nursing students across the state and nation. MANS and NSNA offer many opportunities in both the professional and social aspects of nursing.
