BEACON
BEACON, The Business Economic and Community Outreach Network, of the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University, offers business, economic, workforce, and community development consulting and assistance services to a variety of organizations, including businesses, government agencies, and non-profit community-based organizations.
BEACON’s focus is delivering innovative solutions to clients while teaching students to apply the concepts they learn in the classroom. BEACON provides our region's public and private sector decision makers with the business and economic development data, information, skills and know-how they need through targeted outreach programs, applied research, trend and scenario analyses, demand forecasting, strategic planning, feasibility studies, and modeling for resource allocation, process improvement, and economic impact studies.

Barbell Club
The Salisbury University Weightlifting Club is dedicated to educating students on the different factors that go into Weight Training and assisting them as they compete in local and national competitions.
Our goal is to raise $1500 to compete as a team at the Terrapin Open Powerlifting Meet at UMD College Park. We have 12 members each filling a respective weight class. Some are going for gold, others are going for the top 5, and one of us will win "Best Lifter of the Meet!"
A gift today to the Weightlifting Club will provide funds to travel to the Terrapin Open Powerlifing Meet. The trip will inspire a renewed sense of spirit as the students encourage each other to compete at their best. Your gift, combined with others, will make a difference.

Dear Salisbury Baseball alumni and friends,
Salisbury Baseball continues to grow because people like you believe in the program. You know the history, the standard, and the work required to keep this team strong. You also understand what this program means to our student-athletes. We invite you to support that experience by choosing to Adopt a Sea Gull.
As an alumnus, you know the early mornings, the long practices, and the commitment that has shaped Salisbury Baseball for years. You know what it takes to compete at a high level. As a community member, you see the emotion, the passion, the fight that personifies SU Baseball. Alumni, fan or friend, your support has a direct impact on the training environment and the development of our players.
This season, when you Adopt a Sea Gull, your gift will help fund the enclosure of our batting cages. We need to raise about $100,000 dollars to complete this project. An enclosed facility will create a safer, all weather training space that allows our student athletes to prepare year-round. When our players show up ready to work, this project gives them a space that reflects their effort and commitment.
This upgrade is an important step for the program. It will give our student athletes the tools and environment they need and deserve. If our goal is not met, all funds raised will support the general needs of the baseball program.

Betty Turner Memorial Nursing Scholarship
The Betty Turner Memorial Nursing Scholarship has been created to honor the legacy of an icon who dedicated over 54 years of her life to nursing education on the Eastern Shore at Peninsula Regional Medical Center and Salisbury University. Betty was passionate about education, an innovator in nursing practice, and a mentor to generations of Eastern Shore nursing professionals. Her research assisted the development of many of the critical care programs utilized today and the establishment of emergency response system coordination with hospitals on the lower Eastern Shore.

Biology
The mission of the Biological Science department is to provide first-rate educational opportunities for biology and health-discipline majors in preparation for advanced degree work or postgraduate employment. Our degree programs provide students with the knowledge and abilities to apply the scientific process and to think critically about contemporary issues in the biological sciences.
Our faculty need your help to provide our students with excellent classroom instruction and research opportunities.
