Econ Club
The Econ Club is a student run organization that is open to all students interested in the economy. We gather to discuss current economics events with an emphasis on the ‘knowledge revolution’, host economics related events with the goal of networking, landing internships, jobs, economic data visualization sessions with Tableau, and an annual networking/professional trip to Washington DC in the Fall. The purpose of the Econ Club is to share economics-related information and to explore the field, opportunities, and connect through experiences. No matter your major, understanding economics is very important, and the Econ Club will help you explore your interests. The Econ Club is a student-run organization combining academic, professional, and social activities, to foster a sense of community among SU’s students interested in, and connected to economics.
Economics
Economics is one of the
most influential academic disciplines, exploring how markets function and how
people make decisions. At Salisbury University, we offer two outstanding
undergraduate degrees in Economics—Business Economics (BS) and Economics (BA).
Both have earned STEM designation.
Our newly established Economics Department invites you to join us in empowering
our students to thrive. We’ve revitalized our curriculum by adding two exciting
tracks—Quantitative Economics and Environmental Economics—alongside our
traditional track. Beyond the classroom, we’ve launched an active ECON Club and
organize semesterly trips to Washington, D.C., where students visit government
agencies, private organizations, and network with alumni.
Every semester, we host renowned national and international scholars for
engaging Brown Bag seminars. We also bring in representatives from various
companies to share internship opportunities, helping students gain valuable
real-world insights.
We are committed to providing students with the tools they need to succeed in
the job market and in life. With your support, we can continue to enhance these
opportunities and ensure their success.
Your gift makes a difference! Thank you for your generosity. Please take a

The team works collaboratively, oftentimes projects involve multiple units within Enrollment Management as well as across campus.
Enrollment Management is comprised of the Center for Student Achievement; Financial Aid & Scholarships; Orientation, Transition & Family Programs; Regional & Affiliate Operations; and Undergraduate Admissions. Together these offices support University-wide initiatives focused on student recruitment and retention and promotes a warm and welcoming environment that reflects the University’s values of community, diversity and inclusivity.
