2022 Exclusive Painting Sponsorship Opportunity
World-renowned artist George Wright, who hails from Maryland’s Eastern Shore, has been commissioned to create two unique paintings to celebrate the 2021 National Championship Baseball and Women’s Lacrosse teams. Wright’s previous work includes commissions to celebrate the 1991 and 1992 Duke University Men’s Basketball National Championship, the 2002 University of Maryland Men’s Basketball National Championship, as well as portraits of Harold Baines, Johnny Unitas, Eddie Murray, Ted Williams, Babe Ruth and Dale Earnhardt. His work can be found hanging in Cooperstown in the Baseball Hall of Fame, the Orioles Hall of Fame in Orioles Park at Camden Yards as well as countless exhibitions across the United States. Wright's special project for SU features players and the head coaches from the Salisbury University 2021 National Championship baseball and women’s lacrosse teams. There will be a limited number of artist proofs available for each painting. Each numbered limited-edition artist proof can be uniquely hand painted with an artist remark of your favorite photo to customize the painting exclusively for you and will be signed by the artist George Wright.
