Andy Jones Endowment for Coaching Excellence
As the father of Salisbury men’s lacrosse, Coach Andy Jones served as the inaugural head coach from 1973-1977 at then Salisbury State College. Coach Jones and his players set the foundation of what would become one of the most accomplished lacrosse programs in the history of the sport. In 1975, during his third year of being head coach, Jones was honored as the National Coach of the Year. During his time as head coach, he produced multiple All-Americans and remained close with the program for many years after his retirement from coaching.
In the spirit of Coach Jones’ promotion of helping coaches in the sport of lacrosse, all the proceeds from the Coach Andy Jones Endowment for Coaching Excellence help fund coaching positions and professional development opportunities for new coaches looking to advance in the profession.
Please take this opportunity to honor the impact Coach Jones has had on so many lives over the years and make your gift today!
