The Center for Healthy Communities
endeavors to positively impact our community’s health status through workforce
development grant activities, professional development and community education,
and interprofessional education and practice.
As a valued resource to local
health and human service organizations, the Center for Healthy Communities
supports community connection and partnership by creating employment
opportunities in our local workforce, offering professional development
opportunities, and developing grant-funded programs that transform our
community. The Center also brings meaningful internship and practicum
experiences, as well as creates interprofessional education and practice for
students in the College of Health & Human Services.
