The Dance Program celebrates an alliance with music, theatre, and the visual arts and contributes to a vision for the performing arts at Salisbury University. The mission of the Dance Program reflects the university's core values of excellence, student-centeredness, learning, community and civic engagement, and diversity.
The Salisbury University Dance Company, founded in 1960, focuses on dance as a fine art. The ensemble study provides students with opportunities to rehearse and perform ballet, ethnic, jazz, modern/contemporary, and musical theatre dance works choreographed by resident faculty, nationally-renowned guest artists, and selected student members.
We need your help to enhance the talent and skill of our students and provide experiences that go beyond the studio.
