Early Childhood Education
The Department of Early and Elementary Education offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, as well as a double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Programs are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI), and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
