Economics

One of the most influential academic disciplines, economics is the study of the market and how and why people make the choices they make.  Similar to the alumni featured above, graduates of the Economics program:

  • define and apply business concepts associated with core business areas
  • understand and evaluate ethical issues and situations relating to economics function professionally in an organizational environment, demonstrating professional behaviors and attitudes
  • use current technology to help them to propose and implement solutions to a given business issue
  • develop an ethical system that emphasizes fair play and decency in service to business, government and society
  • have an awareness of and sensitivity to the opportunities and constraints of operating in foreign cultures and politico-legal systems
  • master quantitative methods, and mathematical and computer skills

Your gift, no matter the size, will help the Economics Department give an exceptional experience to each student. Your investment will help support classroom enhancements, updated resources, and the travel of students to various forums.
