Holloway Hall Social Room Revitalization
The Vision
Holloway Hall has been the center of the student experience since 1925. As the first building on campus, it has stood as a symbol of excellence while having the practicality of being everything to everyone at the birth of the Teachers College. The Social Room was part of the final phase of the building’s construction, opening in December 1932. It's appearance has changed very little in the nearly century since its completion.
The Need
As SU approaches its Centennial, investment in the enhancement of Holloway Hall’s Social Room is needed to expand programming offerings and to provide a more welcoming area for all who visit, including alumni, faculty, staff, students, donors and community members.
