Literature/Film Quarterly (LFQ)
Did you know that a majority of films are adapted from literature,
historical events, and previous movies? Literature/Film
Quarterly is the longest standing scholarly journal devoted to the
study of adaptation, and we've been publishing work on many of the most beloved
films for 50 years! Established in 1973 by Jim Welsh and Tom Erskine, LFQ has
been an indispensable forum for both established and emerging scholars to
define and redefine the terms of adaptation studies. Edited and published at
Salisbury University, LFQ circulates freely and electronically around the world,
attracting thousands of readers every month.
