Madeline G. Perdue Women’s Basketball Endowment Fund
Madeline Perdue was a beloved and revered figure within the SU and Salisbury community alike. In 1938, she would win SU’s Woman Athlete of the Year while playing on the women’s basketball and field hockey teams. Among her many accomplishments in life was being an avid outdoorswoman, philanthropist and a successful basketball coach at the Asbury United Methodist Church. She would later go on to establish the Madeline G. Perdue Charitable Foundation, Inc. which still touches young female athletes today.
