🗲⚡ Flash Fundraiser for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion 🗲⚡

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is fundraising to send current SU students to the African American Student Leadership Experience (AASLE) in January 2025! Thanks to a generous matching gift, every donation will be doubled (up to $2,000 total).

Every $1,200 we raise will fund the travel and conference fees for a Salisbury University student!

AASLE is a four-day intensive conference where students will enhance their leadership skills. This immersive experience will challenge students to apply leadership theories in real-time, collaborate in teams, and develop action plans to implement on campus, fostering the growth of diverse leaders and the betterment of the SU community. The AASLE also engages students in the Asian American, Pacific Islander, Chicano, Hispanic, and Latino communities.

Your gift will help cover conference fees, food, travel, and lodging for approximately 12 students and 2 advisors. Students will bring back valuable insights and actionable steps to improve diverse initiatives at SU. Your gift will help us get there!

Hear from Past Attendees!

“I was among a group nominated and selected to participate in the African American Student Leadership Experience in Baltimore, MD! During this leadership conference, we participated in several workshops that not only encouraged us to be better leaders on campus, but also how to handle constructive criticism and feedback along with various other skills. While at this trip my group received 2nd place out of 12 groups for our skit on how to integrate AI to make the world a more positive place. The trip was sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.” - Jahnaiya Sutherland
