Orientation Leaders
Help us support the transition into tradition! Sea Gulls speak fondly of their favorite traditions. Those traditions create powerful memories for years to come. The introduction to many of those traditions begins with Sea Gull Start-Up & First Flight. These programs are shared experiences that binds all undergraduate Sea Gulls. The people who make it all possible are members of our Orientation Leader Team.
Do you remember your Orientation Leader? Were you on the Orientation Team? This is your chance to give back to the students who welcome and support the newest members of our University community. The Orientation Team impacts hundreds of new students and their families each summer. Your gift will ensure their continued access to the meaningful training and development activities that have/will become hallmarks of this premiere student leader experience on campus.
The Orientation Team are students who staff one-day programs in June and the four-day program before classes begin in August, and the weekend before classes in January. Their work focuses on providing a quality transitional experience for all incoming first-year students and transfer students and their families. Your gift will help Orientation, Transition & family Programs (OTFP) enhance the training, development, and support of Orientation Team members. Every gift gets us closer to our ultimate goal of being able to offer an overnight retreat for our Orientation Leaders. No gift is too small.
Interested to see how far your gift could go? Here are some examples of how your support will help us:
• $10 buys an end of summer gift for a member of the Orientation Team
• $25 supports a daylong retreat for two Orientation Leaders
• $50 allows us to introduce an overnight retreat for one Orientation Leader
Your gift today will impact an entire generation of Sea Gulls. The Orientation Team personally interacts and connects with every new student and their family. Your investment in the team is an investment is a strong foundation for new Sea Gulls. Thank you for your gift, and please share our story.
