Political Science
The study of political science is a basis for citizens' responsible political participation and critical thinking, particularly in analyzing public policies. Political science prepares students for law school and graduate programs in political science, public administration and policy sciences. Careers for political science majors include government service (local, state or federal level), journalism, political campaign management, lobbying, law, law enforcement and the military.
The Political Science department at Salisbury University works closely with the professionals at our Career Services Office to develop career information, resources, and placement opportunities for students.
Our faculty need your help to give our students the real-world knowledge of public policies and government service. Your gift, no matter the size, combined with others, will help the Political Science Department continue to prepare students for careers in various areas of public service. Your investment will help provide hands-on experiences in the political world.
