Rommel Center Graduate Assistantships
The Rommel Center for Entrepreneurship sponsors several assistantships each year to provide hands-on experience to young professionals as they complete their graduate degrees. These assistants are able to experience shared co-working spaces and a "makerspace", while building connections with entrepreneurship competition winners as they work to launch their businesses and products.

"This experience has provided me with great
networking opportunities through various events. One event in particular
that helped me with networking was the Palmer Gillis Entrepreneur of the Year
Awards. At this event I was able to meet with successful entrepreneurs both
upcoming and already established. The old saying "teamwork makes the dream work"
couldn't be truer here. Everyone is always willing to help, guide, and give
insights on not just their own work but any other work they can help others on.
We pride ourselves on collaboration with the goal of helping others push
their business to the next level." - Cameron Heard
"Being a graduate assistant at the entrepreneurship center
has provided me with many opportunities that helped me grow as a professional
and challenged me to grow and learn with each new day. The experiences that I'm
getting at the center each day have shaped me into a more capable and resilient
person, ready to thrive in whatever the future holds." - Casey Counts
"I would not have had the opportunity to meet such amazing
entrepreneurs and real experts in their field if not for my involvement as a
Graduate Assistant at the Dave and Patsy Rommel Center. My experiences with
the Shore Hatchery competition, Student Entrepreneurship competition, and my
personal projects have left significant impacts on my preparedness for my
professional success." - Benjamin Spiess
