University Writing Center
The Writing Center opened its doors to the Salisbury University community on November 1, 2005 and has been changing the lives of students ever since. It provides opportunities for writers to seek thoughtful feedback about their work; increases the confidence, versatility, and competence of all writers, in all disciplines; helps writers reconsider and refine their ideas so they can revise their writing in meaningful ways; and supports classroom writing instruction by partnering with Salisbury University faculty members.
Your gift to the University Writing Center will provide support for tutors to attend regional and international writing center conferences to continue learning about best practices in supporting writers and to present their own original research about tutoring practices. Your gift combined with others will make a difference to those students who use the writing center to better themselves academically.
